The World's Largest Adaptive Wakeboarding Event

Since its founding in 2022, the International Parawake Camp at Lunar Cable Park has evolved into the world's largest event of its kind — a meeting point for athletes, associations, researchers, and adaptive equipment manufacturers working together to set safety standards and shape the future of the sport.

The 2026 edition brings together 60–80 participants from across the world — including Canada, Israel, Sweden, France, and Poland. Lunar has been designated by the IWWF as a research center to raise wakeboarding to Olympic standards ahead of the Brisbane 2032 Games.

"On the water I don't have a disability, but the ability to be free to do anything I put my mind to."

— Jodie Baxter, Paralympic Camp #3

Pioneering Adaptive Wakeboarding

Lunar Cable Park became the world's first fully adapted wakeboard facility in 2020, and has been leading innovation in training, therapeutic research, and the international push for the official Paralympic recognition of sit-wakeboarding ever since. Our cable system accommodates riders of all adaptive needs with adjustable handles, custom harnesses, and equipment modifications.

We run the camp in collaboration with B-life & También, promoting adaptive sports and championing women's participation through Spain's "Mujeres y Deporte" program. Our instructors understand how to work with different abilities — upper limb differences, lower limb amputations, visual impairments, and other adaptations.

The 2026 edition will expand its academic and scientific reach, inviting universities and professionals to further explore the sport's rehabilitative and social benefits.

The Camp Experience

Seven days of intensive adaptive wakeboarding bring together athletes, coaches, equipment manufacturers, and researchers in one of the most inclusive sporting environments in the world. Each day includes structured coaching sessions, equipment testing, group activities, and the chance to build friendships with riders from across three continents.

We track your progression throughout the camp, celebrating wins no matter how big or small. Previous camps have seen ambassadors from as far as Canada and Kuwait.

Beyond the water, enjoy meals at our beach bar, community games, and evening activities. It's more than a training camp — it's a growing global movement driven by athletes, for athletes, and supporters who believe in inclusion and the transformative power of sport.
